City Park, Tashkent Overview

The Tashkent City Park spread across 18 hectares is located in the central area of the city. The park consists of beautiful gardens, pools, restaurants, a basketball court, and two children’s playgrounds. One of these playgrounds has paid entry while the other one is free to access. The main attraction is the musical fountains that shoot water streams up to 80 meters and light up in the evening.

One corner of the park is dedicated to an animal hedge sculpture area. The park has an amphitheater where you can enjoy various performances, shows, and musical concerts. Tashkent’s first modern planetarium is also located here, along with a wax museum. The planetarium offers interactive shows in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages while the wax museum has 24 life-sized wax figures on display. You can also use a bicycle to explore different sections and attractions as a slip-proof cycling pathway has been constructed throughout. There are multiple coffee shops and restaurants scattered across the park and kiosks are installed at multiple places to help you navigate the area.
