Gordon Beach, Tel Aviv Overview
Gordon Beach is a free public beach at the South end of Tel-Aviv Marina. It offers soft, clean sand and calm, blue waters of the Mediterranean sea. You can go for a nice swim in the saltwater pool or rent a lounge bed for sunbathing. There are volleyball courts on the sand with an outdoor gym and biking facilities.
Shlomo Lahat Promenade running along the stretch of the Gordon beach, is lined with bars which become the hub spot for drinking and dancing after sundown. Showers, cleaning facilities, ice cream, and soft drink stalls make it a local favourite. Activities such as kitesurfing and paddleboarding are available on the nearby beaches, such as Frishman Beach on the south end. It enjoys a central location opposite the Sheraton Hotel with many high-rise apartment buildings, restaurants and cafés.
