Termez

Termez is a city in the southern part of Uzbekistan, near the border with Afghanistan. It is the administrative center of the Surxondaryo Region. Termez has witnessed various civilizations and cultural influences throughout its history, including Greek, Buddhist, Islamic, and Soviet influences. 

Termez has several historical and cultural attractions, including the Fayaz Tepe Buddhist temple complex and the Kirk Kiz Fortress.
