Utrecht's Botanic Garden

Oldest Botanic Garden and the largest university garden in Netherlands, located in the heart of Utrecht Science Park, Utrecht Botanic Garden is located in budapestlaan. It holds about six thousand species of plants including Mediterranean plants and other must see spots include sculptures, beautiful lakes and fountains.

Originally a medical Herb garden, it now has various segments including a beautiful Rock garden, Greenhouse, Discovery Garden, a Bee hotel, Birders Den and other experimental gardens. You will be impressed by the great abundance of both native and exotic varieties of flowers and species of plants. Humidity in the center hall allows development of cocoa, papaya, orchids and much more throughout the year and also the greenhouse allows growing plants from different climate conditions via controlled atmosphere. Other attractions is the Rock garden, it houses twenty one hundred ardennes rocks. Also, there is a cafe where you can have lunch and a food truck for coffee and other edibles.
