Built in 1984, this 32-metre-tall statue is the second tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world and is situated atop Nho Mountain, 170 metres above the sea. Visitors must climb up a series of 1000 steps to get to this statue. The path up the mountain is lined with trees and fragrant flowers and has spots that provide great photo opportunities. Visitors can climb the statue up to the shoulders. This offers spectacular panoramic views of Vung Tau and the South China Sea and a sense of tranquillity.
