Raja Rajeshwari Temple

One of the major attractions for visitors in Yercaud, Sri Raja Rajeshwari Temple is dedicated to Raja Rajeshwari who is said to be the Goddess of all Gods. It is believed according to Hindu belief that one can achieve success and wealth by offering to devote oneself to the Goddess whole-heartedly. There are some other deities in the temple apart from Sri Raja Rajeshwari.

The huge idol of Sri Raja Rajeshwari can be spotted in a sitting posture which is 4.5 feet tall and is surrounded by a surfeit of Gods. The idol of the main Goddess is surrounded by idols of other Hindu Gods including Lakshmi, Vishnu, Rudra, Brahma, and Saraswathi.
