One of the prominent churches in Zadar, the church of St Simon is a Christian basilica from the early 15th century, located next to Petar Zoranic square. It is a Roman catholic Church known for its robust architecture which includes intricate stones, cravings and statues.
It underwent numerous modifications from being a three nave basilica and then a gothic building, while the present building with baroque details was given to the building of the sixteenth century. Talking about the artistic masterpieces it houses , you can find various religious artworks and decorations.
