Lotrscak Tower

Perched high above the city of Zagreb, Lotrščak Tower stands a majestic symbol of its rich history. The 5-story spiral staircase is not for the faint of heart, but those who make the journey are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of both Upper and Lower Town. The antique Gri Cannon is discharged from the tower.

 the cannon is discharged, every day at noon to commemorate its historical role as a defence position. Lotrak tower is now part of the Klovievi dvori Gallery, a public institution. On the ground floor of the tower, there is an ART & GIFT SHOP that sells souvenirs, books, and one-of-a-kind jewellery. The first and second floors are utilised for exhibitions, while the top of the tower provides tourists with the most spectacular view of Zagreb. The Lotrak Tower, built in the 13th century to protect the city's southern gate, has witnessed numerous chapters of Zagreb's history. It acted as a critical defense structure, shielding the city's population from external attacks, and its echoes are still filled with stories of bravery and resilience. Over the decades, the tower has been built upwards, and it is now a renowned tourist attraction known for offering some of the best views in the city.
