The famous Navagio Beach, popularly known as the Shipwreck beach, is located on the western coast of Zakynthos near Anafonitria Village. There are two viewing points on the beach. A closer official viewing point is at a small fenced balcony at a clifftop where tourists can stop for a minute to get an aerial view of the beach. The main Navagio Beach viewpoint is a 15-20 minute rocky trail hike from the official viewpoint, which leads to a cliffside edge on one end of the beach. This point provides the most scenic overhead view of the beach and the shipwreck.
The Navagio Beach viewpoint is only accessible via road or a hike from the beachfront. Visitors can also see some other popular attractions near Navagio, such as Keri Caves, Alykes Beach, Blue Caves, and Anafonitria Monastery.
