Navagio Beach is located near Anafonitria village on the western coast of Zakynthos Island in Greece. Popularly known as the shipwreck beach, it is the site of a 1980s rustic shipwreck which stands as a majestic artwork in the middle of the beach. Enjoy a relaxing swimming, snorkelling, or photography session around the beautiful white pebbled shore.
Magnificent limestone cliffs and crystal-clear turquoise waters surround the picturesque cove. Due to its location, Navagio has no basic facilities and is only accessible via water taxis from the Porto Vromi Port. These water taxis also cover attractions such as the Blue Caves and Xygia Sulphur Beach. Visitors can also take a 45-minute drive from Zaknyhtos capital to get an aerial view of the beach from a small balcony at one of the clifftops. Keri Caves, Alykes Beach, Blue Caves, and Anafonitiria Monastery are nearby.
