Breithorn , Zermatt Overview
The Breithorn close to Zermatt, is an intensely glaciated mountain crest with several peaks. It is positioned on the Swiss -Italian border in the Pennine Alps. It is the easiest and most famous peaks to ascend. It is visited for its 360’ degree view and the mountain sporting activities it offers.
Many keen mountaineers selected this mountain for their first 4,000-metre summit. This mountain is 4,164m in height. From this mountain peak, one can get a visual of Matterhorn, Rhone Valley and Monte Rosa massifs etc. there are mountain huts too wherein one can stay overnight and can avail of refreshments.
