Away from the hustle-bustle of the city, the Zurich zoo offers you the chance to observe over 360 species of animals that are present here, from tigers and gorillas to turtles and penguins. An onsite resident elephant park and a rainforest are also a part of the zoo.
Opened in 1929, today the zoo is a famous tourist attraction. Snow leopards, bears, tortoises and so many other animals can be found here. Not just these, the Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park is a separate outdoor enclosure, allowing visitors to view and see the resident elephant family as they indulge in their daily playful activities. The Masoala Rainforest is also part of the zoo complex.
