What is the best time to visit Kedah?

December to January is the ideal time to visit Kedah in Malaysia as the weather is very pleasant with maximum day temperature around 31 degrees Celcius. December-January are the coolest months and tourism is at its peak. Another good time to visit Kedah is fromfrom June to August when the weather is dry and hot. Rainfall is the least during these months. Average maximum day temperature reaches 32 degrees Celcius. It is not recommended to visit Kedah from September to November due to the monsoon season. Due to heavy rainfall, the sea becomes rough and most of the boats and ferries are shut especially for traveling to Langkawi.
