Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati to Cherrapunjee (146 km, 4 hr 16 min)
Meet and greet by our representative at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, and proceed towards Cherrapunjee. En route, visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls.
Cherrapunjee is known for its impressive waterfalls and deep gorges, offering stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.
Attractions include:
  • Nohsngithiang Falls (Mawsmai Falls)
  • Dainthlen Falls
  • Nohkailikai Falls (World’s fourth highest)
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After some rest, visit:
  • Mawsmai Cave (6 km from Cherrapunjee market, towards the Bangladesh border)
  • Eco Park
  • Thangkharang Park

Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Enjoy a half-day trip to the Double Decker Root Bridge (a 3-hour trek involving 3,000 steps up and down).

In the evening, prepare for a get-together. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee.
After breakfast, drive towards Mawlynnong Village in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. Known as ‘God’s Own Garden’, the village was awarded the title of the Cleanest Village in Asia in 2003 and the Cleanest Village in India in 2005.

  • Sacred Groves of Mawphlang
  • Laitlum Canyons (the Grand Canyon of the East)
In the evening, visit the Cathedral and stroll the famous Police Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
After breakfast, visit:
  • Ward’s Lake
  • Lady Hydari Park
Proceed towards Guwahati, stopping at Borapani Lake (Umiam Lake) for a picturesque view and an optional motorboat ride. Continue the journey to Guwahati, where you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station.

Overall experience was good Hotel living roof in shillong wasn't good the service is very slow and rates are too high for that kind of hotel.hotel in guwahati is good.The car and driver Babu is excell (Read More)ent.pl don't recommend hotel living roof to your clients it will pull down your reputation.

Hi Team! First off, huge thanks to you guys for facilitating my trip on such a short notice! Special shout out to our Agent Afruja Ahmed! You did one hell of a job and I'm not sure if this trip would (Read More)have gone the way it went without your experience and expertise! The trip was perfectly planned and set by you guys considering the short amount of time we had before starting off! PS: Anyone planning on an unplanned trip, you can blindly trust these guys at Asian! While the trip, the plan, the car, the driver, our Agent Afruja and everything was perfect, there's one field that definitely has room for improvement! The choice of hotels/stays. Our stay at Dirang and Bhalukpong were 10/10. However the one at Tawang could have been better considering the price we paid. I know we chose the deluxe package, but I've been to other trips and paid less and gotten much better stays/hotels. The stay at Bomdila (Monastery stay) was good expect the washroom didn't have a jetspray and they didn't provide heaters (like how would someone survive the city without a heater?)... Except this, the whole trip was so good, all of us enjoyed a lot! Afruja made sure we missed out on nothing and kept a check on us and our safety throughout our travel! Thank you team Asian!
