Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati Airport Pickup – Nameri (240km/5hrs)
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and driven to Nameri National Park. Known for its rich wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and Himalayan birds, Nameri offers trekking and rafting on the Jia Bhoroli River.
Overnight stay in Nameri.
After breakfast, head to Dirang, a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Himalayas. Famous for its monasteries, Tibetan villages, and the historic Dirang Dzong, the valley is perfect for exploring ancient architecture.
Overnight stay in Dirang.
Post breakfast, begin your journey to Tawang. On the way, stop by the Hot Water Springs, enjoy a quick snack at the Dosa Point in Vaisakhi, and visit the Sela Pass (13,700 ft), the Sela Lake, and the Jaswantgarh War Memorial. Admire the beauty of Nuranang Waterfalls before arriving in Tawang. In the evening, visit Tawang Monastery (Asia’s 2nd largest), the Craft Centre, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and other local attractions.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
This day is reserved for sightseeing around Tawang, including Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Nagula Lake, Y Junction, Sangster Lake, and Bum La Pass (India-China border). Note that a 3-day stay in Tawang is recommended to process permits if you wish to visit Bum La Pass.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
After breakfast, journey to Bomdila, stopping at Bomdila Monastery and the Bomdila View Point. The town offers scenic Himalayan views and is known for its peaceful ambiance. Explore the local markets for souvenirs.

Drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the way, visit Tezpur, Assam’s cultural hub, to explore historic sites like Agnigarh, the Lord Shiva Temples, and Brahmaputra Ghats. Upon arrival in Kaziranga, check into your accommodation.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Start your day with an early morning Elephant Safari in Kaziranga National Park, where you can spot one-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, and other wildlife. Enjoy a Jeep Safari in the afternoon and explore local attractions like orchid gardens, tea plantations, and an ethnic village.

After breakfast, depart for Guwahati for your airport drop. If time permits, you can visit the Kamakhya Temple or the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra before your flight.

Provided transport which was comfortable. Provided hotel in Tawang which was also good but some suggestions given to improve the accommodation.

We had an amazing experience within our budget. We ate best food. Went to best places and inspite of being vegetarians still did not have any food problem in Meghalaya. Few hotels had geyser and wifi (Read More)problems for which feedbacks have already taken and forwarded by owner. Overall I had the best experience with Trikhal.

The agent threatens and used a filthy language after sending the quote since I haven’t yet confirmed the booking yet. I’m still exploring the options. Is this the way to behave. Sharing his exact wo (Read More)rds below. “ Ki re package jabar taka aache bada”. I have the proofs of chat. Please don’t go with these agents. I’m sure all other positive reviews if at all must be faked ones
