Raintree Holiday:- A horrible Journey experience
I just experienced the unbelievable services from Raintree holidays…. A madam from Raintree Holidays called me when I was searching for the kerala pac (Read More)kage… she made me convinced with her believable but false commitments about their services… which were
1. We provide the best hotels no one can provide within the price range which we are providing.
2. You will definitely get the Budget hotels in the rates below than ours.
3. We will provide you the driver having good knowledge of Hindi and English (which is an advantage for North Indians visiting in Kerala)
4. You will not have any complaint about hotels as well as transportation service… even you will feel amazed.
This all was a trap because everything was just opposite of that:-
First about Driver
1. Driver came to pick us up after 2 hours of scheduled time and kept us waiting at airport.
2. When we met him I got to know that he does not know Hindi not even English
3. Driver always tried to convince that dont go for sight seen there will traffic you will stuck in huge jam.. but when we went there, there was no jam. It happens two or three times (He was doing so that we can avoid the sight seen)
Now about the hotels Raintree holidays provided.
Just apposite to the commitments, 3rd class hotel were provided…
There was seepage in the hotels, not even cleaned properly, Bed was stinky (some photos of Hotel are there)…..No food facility in the hotels…..No landline telephone…..No room services…..No electric kettle/TV nothing even only medimix soaps were provided in the bathrooms of the 3 stars(as per Raintree Holidays)
Everything was ignored but the hotel for the last day booked at so kuch prime location that there was not any restaurant nearby no problem but when I asked the driver to go the restaurant for the dinner. He denied to go saying that his duty is off for the day (at 8:30 pm). There was no food facility in the hotel. My 3 years old son slept after having biscuits at that day…..
Much more happened during the call with that madam she threatened me to pay the balance amount which was only the 10% of the total payment. I paid the balance and we returned with the bad mood….
Raintree Holidays ruined the journey of Kerala even made it horrible and left us hating kerala for that and we will never be in Kerala????????

1. Question no:1 ANS : You travelled with Mumbai Agency on 24-Dec-2024 , we provide the service here its B2B, any way , Your packag (Read More)e started 24-Dec-2024, we provide the quotation to 25th Nov 2023, the same day also we inform you its a peak time in all destinations so kindly book as soon as possible, That time we provide Munnar Misty Lake Resort , Thekkady Jungle Park Resort & Alleppey Pagoda Resort . Agents follow up with you every day . But you booked the package at the last moment , that time thekkady and Alleppey hotels sold out what we provided. the available hotels in thekkady Greencourt Resort & Alleppey Vinodam River side Residency. But you need the Quoted hotels, you are not convinced by that agent , so i called you this is the situation only this hotels available , you are also ticked booked , you need to travel . at the last moment you agreed and booked. Because all other agents are refusing your booking because of non availability. you started the journey and you are satisfied with munnar misty lake resort, its a 3 Star deluxe hotel, after you reach thekkady you started comparing all hotel rooms with munnar hotel. in thekkady we also arranged breakfast from outside.

ANS: At night you asked if the driver (After 10PM) needed to go outside. The driver refused the same because they are driving all day. They need to rest because the next day he needs to drive the whole day. then you started complaining about the driver , in munnar 02 days you have had no complaints about him. He is our regular driver you used the cab KL-37-D-3456 Driver Risvan. (you can check his names in google reviews, what other guest commented about him) 4. You will not have any complaints about hotels as well as transportation service… even you will feel amazed. This all was a trap because everything was just opposite of that:- First about Driver 1. Driver came to pick us up after 2 hours of scheduled time and kept us waiting at the airport. ANS: It's our mistake. Unfortunately on the way to the airport the scheduled cab met with an accident, 45 Min you wait in the departure area , that we appreciate. I also informed you this has happened so we are arranging the next cab for you.
3. ANS: We have a proper plan for sightseeing, especially in peak season. but you need to go as you suggested, the driver informed us that I called you , please coordinate with the driver. It's a peak time munnar also has narrow and bendy roads.
Now about the hotels Raintree holidays provided. Just apposite to the commitments, 3rd class hotel were provided… ANS: That i Answered in 1 st Question.

ANS: Sir this happens at alleppey, before going to the hotel the driver told you if u need anything buy and you can keep in cab, because alleppey is a small area 80 % water only 20% land . In peak hours, how to drive , that day mullakkal temples festivals are also going on . and we dropped by the hotel at 9.00 PM . you said only 10 % you need to pay, till alleppey you paid only 5000 Rs. The total package rate is 35500/- .Normally all agents collect the full amount from the airport, but our cab is late so we are not informed. When you reached thekkady the mumbai agent and I requested you to pay atleat 50 % needed to pay at the hotel as well as fuel for the cab. you said when u reached alleppey will pay , but till night 9 (Next day trip ends) you are not paying .Then what do we do ??? So the Mumbai agent informed you , cant able to check out tomorrow from the hotel. Don't lie in the name of your kid, at night i called the hotel people and arranged hot water for making food for your kid, not buscut matter .
ANS: Sir its a request kindly avoid last time booking when going on tour during peak season, Then pay on time because agents need to pay at hotels and cabs , without payment hotels not allow to checkout, in your case raintree holidays paid from our pockets for your trips. It's our fault too, because your reason was the booking which was abandoned by everyone, you booked the last time, I showed humane consideration because you booked the ticket and did not get the flight ticket cancellation charge, it was a big mistake on my part, sorry
