Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Srinagar / Shikara / Srinagar (Full day)
On arrival at Srinagar, transfer to the houseboat for check-in and freshening up. Later, explore Dal Lake with a relaxing Shikara ride. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, also known as The Valley of Shepherds, situated at an altitude of 2440 meters. En route, visit Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (11th-century temples), and Apple Valley. Pahalgam is a popular filming location for Bollywood movies, offering stunning views and serene surroundings. In the evening, take a nature walk through pine forests. Visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, and continue to Aru Valley (approximately 11 km from Pahalgam). Later, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning, return to Srinagar and visit the renowned Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), both located on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Bagh features an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. These gardens are designed with symmetrical waterways and fountains dividing the terraced landscapes. After sightseeing, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning, proceed to Gulmarg via the scenic Tangmarg road, passing by willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Known as The Meadow of Flowers, Gulmarg offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and dense coniferous forests. Enjoy a gondola ride (cable car, at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg, offering stunning views of the valley. The evening is free for leisure, allowing time for a stroll through enchanting valleys and serene mountain landscapes. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Sonmarg. En route, pass through charming villages and picturesque paddy fields with flowing rivers. Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. Visit the Thajiwas Glacier (4 km from Sonmarg), where you can hire ponies for a ride. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking home unforgettable memories of Kashmir.

  • Cancellations made 4 weeks before departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 4 weeks of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • In case of VISA denial/rejection, refunds will be processed after deducting non-refundable payments, flight cancellation charges, hotel booking fees (if any), and a service charge of up to ₹10,000.
  • In certain cases, hotel/service provider cancellation policies may differ and will be applicable as per their specific terms. This will be charged in addition to the standard cancellation fees.
