Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok

Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft). On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft).
Evening return to Gangtok.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note:

Carry 2 passport size photos and photocopy of valid Photo ID (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License). PAN Card and Aadhaar are not accepted.
For children, carry Birth Certificate / School ID Card.
Original documents must be carried.
In case of landslide or road closure, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.

Day 3 Gangtok - Lachen

After breakfast, check out with limited luggage and transfer to Lachen (8,980 ft). En route visit Naga Waterfalls, Bhim Nala Waterfalls, and the confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang.
On arrival, check-in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4 Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake

Early morning, drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world. The lake remains frozen during winter and is considered sacred.
Return to hotel for lunch.
Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 5 Lachen - Lachung

After breakfast, transfer to Lachung (8,738 ft) through the picturesque valley. On arrival, check-in, have lunch and enjoy the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 6 Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

Early morning, visit Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft) – the Valley of Flowers. En route, visit a hot spring known for its medicinal properties. Return to the hotel for lunch and transfer to Gangtok.
On the way, enjoy a scenic view of Mt. Khangchendzonga from Singhik View Point (weather permitting).
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7 Gangtok - Pelling via Namchi

After breakfast, transfer to Pelling (6,300 ft). En route, visit Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) and Sai Temple in Namchi.
On arrival, check-in to hotel.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 8 Pelling Full Day Sightseeing with Skywalk

After breakfast, start for a full day sightseeing tour. In first half, cover Darap village, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wishfulling Lake) and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the second half cover the Pemayangtse monastery, Rabdantse ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim), Sang-Ngag Choling (Skywalk), New helipad ground. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 9 Pelling - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport

After breakfast Checkout from the hotel and take, the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.

As this was my first trip, by booking a package through any travel agency, initially I was little apprehensive what kind of hotels, food and services I would get. Would it be of full value for money e (Read More)tc. etc.? We started our trip from Srinagar Airport, where Mr. Rashid, the driver, was already waiting for us with vehicle. He was of great help throughout the tour. Showed us various local sights with great interest. In the evening we reached Hotel Mountview, Pahalgam. Location of Hotel and surrounding area was just awesome and to our surprise the room and outside view from the room was beautiful. It was very neat and clean room. Hotel Staff was nice, though the food was not as good as per our liking. Next day after local sightseeing in Pahalgam, we left for Srinagar and reached Hotel Four Seasons by the evening. Three night stay at this hotel was the best thing of our tour package. Everything at this hotel was perfect, be it food, hotel staff, room etc. As and when we visit Srinagar, we would definitely like to have our stay at this Hotel in future also. We went for local sightseeing in Srinagar, Gulmerg and Sonmerg. The itinerary of the package was very comfortable and was beyond our expectations. We had full time in our hand to enjoy the sightseeing. Last night of our tour was at Houseboat. We were not so happy at houseboat because we were missing the hospitality given to us by Hotel Four Seasons. Home made Food was really good at this Houseboat. I am thankful to Ms. Pallavi, owner of OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS who gave us such a nice package. Her suggestions were of great benefit and help to us. We would definitely like to have another tour package with OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS.
