Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati | Stay at Guwahati
  • Arrive at Guwahati Railway Station or Airport, where our representative'll greet you.
  • Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
  • Spend the evening leisurely; explore the local market, take a Brahmaputra River Cruise, or visit Nilachal Hills (optional, at an extra cost).
  • Overnight stay in Guwahati.
  • In the early morning, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple for darshan, followed by puja and Bhog Prasad (Lunch).
  • Visit the Bagala Mandir, Bhuvaneswari Mandir, Kali Mandir, Tara Mandir, Chinnamasta Mandir, Bhairavi Mandir, Dhumawati Mandir, Matangi Mandir, and Kamala Mandir.
  • Visit Umananda Temple, located on an island in the Brahmaputra River.
  • Later, explore Balaji Temple and spend a relaxed evening at Shukleshwar Mandir Ghat or Lachit Ghat along the Brahmaputra River.
  • Overnight stay in Guwahati.
  • Post breakfast, begin your journey to Cherrapunji, known for its lush landscapes and waterfalls.
  • En route, stop at Elephant Falls and the stunning Mawkdok Dympep Viewpoint, which offers views of a beautiful V-shaped valley.
  • Visit Wei Sawdong Falls, a three-tiered waterfall accessed by a short hike.
  • Stop at the viewpoints of Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters’ Falls for panoramic views of the falls.
  • Explore the Mawsmai Caves and Arwah Caves, known for their stunning limestone formations and fossils.
  • Check into your hotel in Cherrapunji.
  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Note: Limit your time at each attraction to 15-30 minutes to ensure you cover all the sites listed.
  • After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village.
  • Visit the Balancing Rock, a natural wonder that defies storms and cyclones.
  • Explore the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village (optional).
  • Continue to Dawki, where you can experience boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River (boating at your own expense).
  • Stop at the India-Bangladesh International Border (Sylhet District).
  • In the evening, transfer to Shillong and check into your hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • Wake up to a scenic morning in Shillong and enjoy breakfast.
  • Visit Umiam Lake, a beautiful man-made reservoir where you can indulge in water sports (optional).
  • Explore the local attractions of Shillong and enjoy a relaxed day.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel and start your return journey to Guwahati.
  • En route, visit Baishista Temple, nestled amidst rocky hills and natural springs.
  • Drop off at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
  • End of tour.

Provided transport which was comfortable. Provided hotel in Tawang which was also good but some suggestions given to improve the accommodation.

We had an amazing experience within our budget. We ate best food. Went to best places and inspite of being vegetarians still did not have any food problem in Meghalaya. Few hotels had geyser and wifi (Read More)problems for which feedbacks have already taken and forwarded by owner. Overall I had the best experience with Trikhal.

The agent threatens and used a filthy language after sending the quote since I haven’t yet confirmed the booking yet. I’m still exploring the options. Is this the way to behave. Sharing his exact wo (Read More)rds below. “ Ki re package jabar taka aache bada”. I have the proofs of chat. Please don’t go with these agents. I’m sure all other positive reviews if at all must be faked ones

Yet to avail trip with them but i was olanning and they provided one of the best itinerary. It was wonderful having to know them. Will definitely choose them when i will finally visit nort east.
