Continue to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of the Death Railway, constructed by Allied POWs. Afterward, take a long-tailed boat on the River Kwai to the floating hotel at River Kwai Jungle Rafts to have lunch. After lunch, journey downstream to Phu Takian Pier and visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial. Then return to the rafts to enjoy your dinner, followed by a 45–minute presentation of traditional Mon Dance. Begin your second day with a visit to a Mon tribal village to learn about local traditions and customs. Trek through the jungle and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. We were told Hellfire pass was cancelled at the last minute because the place is under renovation. In reality this closure is planned since last year but it wasn't communicated to us over any previous (Read More) correspondence. Also operator did not offer any alternative plans or partial refund and just spent the entire afternoon at the lodging venue. Definitely felt some lack of honesty and transparency there. Otherwise the trip was good.

We had a great time, but expected a little more from the show in the evening. Furthermore, it was an experience you will never forget! The way we go back to basic is something we appreciate in our jou (Read More)rney to realize for a moment how good we have it in our daily lives 🙏🏻

We did the 2 day river Kwai tour - it would have been better to organise it ourselves rather than go with this tour. The local guides were fine, but the company was very difficult to deal with. I had (Read More)to add an additional person to our booking - at first they tol;d me I had to cancel the existing booking and rebook at nearly twice the price. When they finally agreed to just add one person, they spent all day chasing me for the money. Then disappeared when I tried to confirm the pickup location. We were a group of four but the company insisted we meet at a hotel only 1km away, instead of driving 5mins ton pick us up at our accommodation. All the sites visited are free entry and the food is nothing special. So you're basically paying for a driver to driver you around which can be organised for less than half the price in Bangkok. I wouldn't recommend or do this tour again.

Very educational and such a good guide who told me lots about Thai history in preparation for the museum. Very kind people and lovely transport. Felt extremely safe the entire time despite being the o (Read More)nly one on the tour. The floating lodge was so relaxing with plenty of options for activities and caring staff to help.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, my only teny tiny issue is the guide (Bly) who we were handed over to after lunch on the first day, deciding to take a vote in our group as to who wanted to continue to h (Read More)ell-fire pass or go straight on to the river raft accommodation, saying we know the story from the museum and the rail line passing, so the stories the same just a different location.....the majority of the group opted to skip the next stop of the tour, I felt very disappointed I missed the most important part of the tour for me, as an Australian I really wanted to visit that site....The guide should never had asked the question and just continued the planned tour. Other than this one thing I still would highly recommend this tour. And I guess I'll be doing it again one day.
