Amorgos: Hiking Along the Ridges of Mt. Krikelos

Nestled on the cliffside, the church/fortress of Agia Triada (the Holy Trinity) in Lagada stands as a testament to both spiritual devotion and architectural ingenuity. Along the way, we visit the serene monastery of Agios Ioannis Theologos. The monastery, with its serene atmosphere and rich heritage, invites visitors to explore its sacred halls and reflect in its peaceful environs. Navigating through steep and rugged terrain, we climb up to Stavros chapel, situated near the highest point of Kroukellos, while exploring rocky cliffs and scenic vistas that capture the natural beauty of the region.
