Take time to explore the iconic temple towering 79 metres over the Chao Phraya River offering panorama across Bangkok from the Thonburi side. It overlooks the Chao Phraya River and offers breathtaking views from its spires. The temple itself was built in 1782 by King Rama I as part of a larger project that included many other temples throughout Bangkok as well as several palaces.
