With a short stop-over in Bangkok it was the perfect way to see many of the sights by night whilst enjoying food, drinks and a live band/entertainment. Boat was nice and perfect for what we wanted. If (Read More) you want ‘fine dining’ then I suggest that this isn’t for you, but if you’re happy with a warm (definitely would have given 5 starts if food was hotter) buffet and a picturesque view from the river at a reasonable price then I would book it. Even the bar drinks were reasonably priced. I would recommend to friends and family. Queuing/ticket pick up is a bit crazy but it’s in the perfect place on the wharf for shopping and the beautiful fountain display whilst waiting (We did the 7pm cruise)

When booking, provide the name of the cruise and indicate exactly where to collect the tickets. We booked a day in advance and when we collected the tickets we were not on the reservation list

This was supposed to be our first approach to Bangkok. The cruise was very noisy with an orchestra playing out of tune, loudspeakers at full volume. The buffet was mediocre to match. The entertainment (Read More) spoiled the magnificent view of the city whose lights were reflected in the river. Too bad.

The problem was that we spent an hour looking for the right counter because the colleague from Riverside Smile sent us away again. We only got our ticket from him after a phone call to the headquarter (Read More)s. After all the trouble, the trip was fine. The question is, who will pay for my unnecessary telephone costs that I could have saved myself if they had checked properly?
