Itinerary

Enjoy the perfect solution to explore the Thai capital for those with limited time. During this half-day tour from 8:30 AM-1:30 PM, stop at the following decadent temple sites and learn the fascinating stories behind them while taking photos at these must-visit spots. Start off with Wat Pho, otherwise known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, which is one of the largest and most impressive temple sights in Bangkok. Marvel at the 150-foot Buddha statue made entirely of gold leaf before exploring the attractive grounds. An endless sea of mosaic stupas make Wat Pho quite unlike other temples in the capital. Continue with Wat Arun, the number one landmark in Thailand. This religious complex, also called the Temple of Dawn, is known for its dreamy white spires that can be seen for miles around. The best way to reach it is by hopping on a riverboat from Wat Pho, giving you the chance to soak up the scenery as you travel between the two. Finally, visit Wat Saket or the Golden Mountain, one of the most important religious pilgrimage sights in Thailand. This hillside temple features a gleaming gold chedi that is thought to contain a relic from the Buddha himself. It can be traced back to the Ayutthaya period, meaning it could be up to 800 years old. Enjoy a low-impact way of exploring. On this tour, you explore sustainable experiences that prioritize providing water in glass bottles and offsetting carbon emissions in every tour, reducing your environmental impact and carbon footprint.

She k (Read More)nows very well the town and the Buddhist culture. Nancy answered all our questions and shared with us facts about Bangkok, Thailand and Buddhist temples/ culture. She took us lots of photos and made the tour a lot interesting. I want to congratulate Nancy for her work and dedication!

We had a very good experience, a private tour! We toured the temples with Bee who picked us up on time where we had previously agreed. He gave us a lot of information in each place, always worrying ab (Read More)out our hydration. At the end we asked him about other activities to do and he helped us book a nighttime dinner cruise, it was wonderful, we had the best place and we met him at a subway station and he took us to the departure point! Thank you very much Bee for such a good experience!!

We had a super guide (Judy) who knew much and told us many things about the temples. She also took many pictures of us, which was very helpful. Really appreciated it, that she contacted us the evening (Read More) before the tour. She would deserve 5 of 5 stars. Just the name of the tour is a bit misleading, as it is a temple tour and no „extra“ Instagram spots are on the route.

We had a small group. Our guide his name was ‘Wat’. Funny that he with this name had to tell us everything about wats (Thai for temple) in general and more specific about the three temples we visited. (Read More) He did his job full of enthusiasm , telling us a lot about history, Buddhism and much more.
