We were excited about this experience and hoped for the best. Unfortunately it was terribly disappointing. First of all we booked a driver that was supposed to know some English, he didn’t though he w (Read More)as a decent driver (but that is NOT the problem). The problem was the entire tour. They tried to charge us 3500 baht for the boat ride (each - that means 7000 baht..really!?) we didn’t have enough cash and they were ok with 5000 baht. Then the ordeal started. The boat driver stopped at a couple of shops on the water and we bought a few trinkets for our daughter. And then 30 more shops that had the exact same things. The driver stopped at each and every one of them even though we asked him to stoop doing this and even though we told the people that we already have what we need some of them became very insistent. It became incredibly uncomfortable and we just wanted out of there fast. The animal park is just terribly cruel - have a lot more to write but they limit the words. DONT GO!!!

Very nice, punctual and friendly taxi driver. We've been to the floating markets before. However, we could have saved ourselves the longtail boat. We didn't drive through the floating markets at all, (Read More)only just before.

Typical market (for tourists), friendly to discover which deserves to be seen. To realize the floating market, it is obviously necessary to make the market on a boat which thereafter stops us in front (Read More) of stalls where we are offered souvenirs. For the boat tour, be careful to ask your driver to take you directly to the market and not to a pier before the market (otherwise there are only motor boats that offer 1 hour tours for 2000 baht or 2 hours for 3000 baht, in the market there is the possibility to choose different tours from 150 baht for 20 min)

The trip was very pleasant, very comfortable car,but the best thing about it was Pol the driver, a super nice gentleman with a good command of English language, he looked after us like we were royalty (Read More), bottles of cold water,cold refreshing towels from the fridge (!!!) every 20-30 minutes, which were off course a God send with the high humidity and 34 plus Celsius temperature . Also he never rushed us in any way and he made it very clear to us that we can stay as long as we'd like. The visit to the coconut farm was very interesting, to see how they make coconut sugar and how they use everything from the coconut in a very ecological way. Altogether a truly 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience.I won't hesitate to recommend this activity to everyone.
