The Rashtrapati Bhavan was built for The Viceroy of Biritish India, and was called Viceroys House before Independence. After that it was re-named as Rashtrapati Bhavan. India Gate; The India Gate is a 42-meter tall building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and built in 1931. It was originally called All India War Memorial in the memory of 90,000 soldiers of Indian Army who died in World War I. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib: Gurudwara Bangla Sahib ji is a huge Sikh Temple, with a very big pond, and a Big kitchen Hall, where in Thousand of people take free meal here. It's built in the memory of 8th Sikh Master. Agarsen Ki Baoli; Agarsen Ki Baoli is a stepwell that has an extraordinary view. It's located in the middle of the city near Connaught Place and was built in the 14th century by Maharaja Agarsen. The Lodhi Garden: Lodhi Garden is the favorite garden in Delhi for picnickers and joggers. The garden is large enough to provide a quiet corner for all. See the tombs of Mohammed Shah (1444), the tomb of Sikandar Lodhi (1517), Bara Gumbad, and Sheesh Gumbad (1494). Safdurjungs Tomb; Safdurjungs Tomb was built in 1753-54 as the mausoleum of Safdurjung, the Viceroy of Awadh under the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah.
