Itinerary

This fun-filled tour of Delhi is focused on exploring the unexplored and discovering the city’s hidden gems with a local expert guide by your side. After meeting your guide, you’ll head by air-conditioned car towards the southern part of Delhi. Your first stop is Mehrauli Archaeological Park, which dates to the 12th-century. The sprawling area is spread over 200-acres and consists of over 100 historically significant monuments. Overlooked by most of the tourist hordes, this park preserves some of the most historic relics of Delhi. After exploring this beautiful park, visit a hidden alley which offers a vibrant blend of cool cafes, art, and culture. Stop for a cup of coffee and a snack at a café with a sustainable approach and learn about the changing culture of Delhi. Next, head towards the most artistic district of India, the Lodhi Art District, which is India’s first open-air public art district. This initiative was begun by the St+art India Foundation, a non-profit organization working to make art accessible to a wider audience. You’ll have time to walk around the narrow, art-filled lanes snapping photos to fill your Instagram feed. The last (but certainly not least) stop is Sunder Nursery, a 16th-century heritage park complex perfect for taking a refreshing break in nature. After exploring Sunder Nursery, you will be driven back to the city.

The tour was really nice. I was picked up on time and safely driven through Indian traffic by Sameer, the driver. The English-speaking guide told me a lot about the history. The break took place in a (Read More)very modern and new café. The snack and the coffee were really good. 1 star deduction because we did not go to Jugaad to the Karm Marg charity for recycled products as described. The guide Annie informed me that this has not existed since Corona times and he informed the provider that he had to revise the tour. But I was very satisfied with the selection of places shown. It was a quiet trip in this bustling city. I can therefore recommend it

Great tour of « hidden gems » in Delhi! If you are looking for beautiful green spaces to get away from the hassle and traffic, this tour is perfect. It includes visits to the newly refurbished botanic (Read More)al garden (Sunder nursery) and the Archeological Park, both beautiful and big green spaces. We also visited an art colony where we had lunch in a super nice restaurant with a garden and could buy locally made « recycled » souvenirs. Finally, the street art was a great walk in probably the quietest street of Delhi with nice architecture. All in all, great tour of the less explored landmarks in Delhi. For me it was the perfect combination of walking and a bit of driving. Finished the tour satisfied I have seen a lot of things without being exhausted. Really enjoyed it especially in the company of our lovely guide Dikshika from Urban Adventures!
