Itinerary

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Delhi where your friendly guide shall meet you in the lobby. Head first to the Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir temple, the oldest and best-known Jain temple in Delhi situated directly across from the Red Fort in the historical Chandni Chowk area. The temple is known for its avian veterinary hospital, the Jain Birds Hospital, in a second building behind the main temple. The next stop is Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwara (house of worship) known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the pool inside its complex, known as the Sarovar. Next, drive to the Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir, a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. Before heading to the next religious place of worship, enjoy a light snack with your guide. Next up, visit the Sacred Heart Cathedral, a Roman Catholic cathedral belonging to the Latin Rite and one of the oldest church buildings in New Delhi. The last attraction is the Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, one of the Sufi saints, Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya. Situated in the Nizamuddin West area of Delhi, the dargah is visited by thousands of pilgrims every week. The site is also known for its evening qawwali Sufi Islamic devotional music sessions. At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel, or you are free to explore the city on your own.

I entered this day tour while organizing the trip almost at random, and it is one of t (Read More)he best tours of the whole trip. Our guide Sandeep knew how to fascinate us with his stories, his kindness and his always courteous and undressed manner. We visited a Jain temple, a Sikh temple, a Hindu temple, a mosque and a cathedral in Delhi to see all the cults (some of these I didn't know at all) and we were really in love with the Sickh temple where there is a huge kitchen where volunteers even from different religions prepare food for everyone ... and a large room where people can eat a meal hot We too thanks to Sandeep stopped for a while to make some bread. And the place where we tasted a wonderful and original Energy. We also shared a wonderful meal with Sandeep
