Itinerary

On this 4-hour city tour you’ll visit Dubai's old quarters as well as the city’s ultra-modern district. Take in cultural attractions, tax-free shopping, and Dubai’s futuristic architecture on a single tour. Your tour begins with a drive along Sheik Zayed Road, taking you to the city’s stunning skyscrapers. Admire the unique architecture styles and the skyline that make for a diverse urban landscape. Included with your tour is a ticket to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, at 828 meters. Ride the fastest elevators in the world and ascend 124 floors in less than a minute. Once you have reached the top you’ll have a 360-degree panoramic view of Dubai and the surrounding area. Visit Souk Madinat, an Arabian-style shopping mall featuring many shops and restaurants. This venue is an interesting mix of the modern and the traditional, and faces the spectacular Burj Al Arab Hotel. Your tour continues to the Palm Island, where you’ll stop by the majestic Atlantis Hotel. Continue on to the Dubai Museum to experience the authentic history and culture of Dubai. As you cross Dubai Creek by abra (water taxi) you’ll see the district of Deira, part of Dubai’s original city center. The popular Gold Souk is located here and you can buy just about anything in its narrow streets and alleys. You’ll also have an opportunity to explore the spice market, which is a feast for the senses.

You should definitely book one or the other excursion online in advance of your Dubai vacation because it is usually more expensive on site. So you can save a little if you book in advance. This excur (Read More)sion is highly recommended! But I have to say that we were incredibly lucky and were the only ones who booked this city tour that day. So we had a private tour with the German-speaking tour guide Zied Chahlaoui. We could then simply determine what we wanted to see in Dubai before we drove to the observation deck of the Burj Khalifa. Or, Zied also made suggestions to us when we were unsure. He also showed us a place with an AMAZING VIEW of the Burj Al Arab. He also has a lot of knowledge about the city, the buildings, future building projects, ... etc. We learned a lot about Dubai and saw a lot in the 4 hours. (He also speaks French and English) THANKS TO ZIED! :-)

When I booked the tour, I thought it was very expensive. At first I thought it was because I booked at very short notice. But it's really worth the money, it's a fantastic tour and even exceeded expec (Read More)tations! A personal tour guide comes and Mounir immediately made a great impression. Everything was flexible and Mounir spoke German fluently, which was great, especially for my children. With up to 46 degrees that day, I was very grateful for the air conditioning in the car and the shortening of walking distances to a minimum (we were always dropped off and picked up in front of the entrances). I found his interaction with the children particularly excellent; both children liked him immediately and let him carry them (while half asleep) (I would like to give an extra star for that, if that's possible!). The Burj Khalifa is also really impressive. So overall I can only report positive things and recommend the tour.

Very good way to get a view of the city in a short time. Unfortunately very expensive, and the planned program carried out incompletely (no trip on the water).

Very good first overview of all the important sights. Guide Monir answered all questions and also helped with shopping in the souk. Burj Khalifa was very beautiful, waiting time was okay. Activity is (Read More)highly recommended.

Tour provided a great introduction to Dubai, covering many parts of the city. Tour also provided historical background. Guide was very accommodating to our interests.
