Itinerary

Combine a tour of Dubai’s ultra-modern city center with a visit to the desert, where you can ride a camel, sandboard dunes, and discover the old traditions of the Arabian Peninsula. The full-day tour also includes a spectacular barbecue buffet dinner at a Bedouin camp. Start with a tour of the city’s iconic buildings and lively districts. Go to Dubai Creek, framed by the Deira Twin Towers and Dubai Creek Tower. The banks of the river are a center of commerce and offer some beautiful views of the city. You will also visit Jumeirah Mosque, situated in the picturesque beach district of Jumeirah, home to the famous Burj Al Arab hotel. See the world's tallest man-made structure at the Burj Khalifa, and continue to Deira City Centre for a shopping tour, with complimentary lunch at selected food outlets. After lunch, leave the city for a desert safari adventure. Drive through the dunes to a typical Bedouin camp. After a welcome of Arabic coffee and dates, you can opt to ride camels, or try a spot of sandboarding in the dunes. Get an intricate henna painting on your hands, or try a sheesha pipe if you prefer to relax at the camp. End the day with a barbecue buffet dinner in the desert, and relax under a carpet of stars.

We were picked up a bit late from the hotel and then rode on a little bus with a very nice guide through Dubai. We were super lucky in that we got to go into Burj al Arab without reservations or havin (Read More)g to pay. Normally you can only see that luxury hotel from the outside. After the city tour we went into the Dubai Mall and got picked up from there right on the dot for our desert safari. The ride through the desert was just amazing and the buffet in the desert exceeded all of pour expectations. At the end there was belly dancing, which we hadn't had high hopes for. However, the dancer was wonderful and brought the evening to a great close. The organizers made up for the initial tardiness with an absolutey incredible day. After nearly 12 hours we were brought back to the hotel happy, full, and tired. 5 stars! Absolutely worth the price.

Tour: I would have liked a 20-minute gold souk stop. Desert: Sanjai first driver. Acts well. Souvenirs very well priced. Full buffet, but I would have liked to be explained before how it was organized (Read More).

This tour is divided into two. The city tour includes some sights. National Museum (free entry) departed. The travel guide was very friendly, super nice and helpful. He imparted a lot of information a (Read More)bout Dubai! (very interesting). There was enough time at each sight to take photos and look around. The tour ended around 1:00 p.m. in the Dubai Mall, where you had time to shop until 3:30 p.m. At 3:30 p.m. you were picked up there again (new driver) to start the desert safari. The drive through the desert was very worthwhile. The camel ride was not even a minute. The desert camp was okay. However, we had to wait a long time for the food to start. Henna Tattoo is free but very small. For more beautiful and larger tattoos you have to pay again. Otherwise everything was as described. So if you only have one day in Dubai like we did, you get a good impression of everything.

The tour of Dubai was very good, the guide was very friendly and pleasant. We missed the mid-day meal, which in the explanation of the excursion appears as an included meal ticket, and they returned u (Read More)s to the hotel to eat. At 3pm they picked us up again to go to the desert. This activity was poorly organized. The guide was very serious and did not speak to us throughout the excursion. Before going to the dunes, he left us for half an hour in a tourist area so we could buy scarves and t-shirts. The walk through the dunes was very good. Then he took us to the Bedouin camp, which is nothing more than an area set up just for tourists. Where you can take a camel ride that lasts 1 minute at most. None of the sandboarding, none of the Shisha, everything was paid extra. When booking the excursion it tells you that it is included. Just like Hena, if you want a small drawing they do it for free but if you want it bigger they also charge you. The included dinner is grilled carme, very poorly organized.

The tickets always ended up in my spam folder, once you find out, the communication works perfectly (English). We were picked up at the meeting point, the city tour was very personal in the coach with (Read More) a small number of participants, visit to the museum as a walk, otherwise only short stops (appetizer/overview of possible activities). We had a BigBusTour the day before, there were a lot of double tickets, it wasn't that cheap. There was only an hour between the city and desert tour, which was almost too short to get fast food in the Dubai Mall and to appear at the next meeting point. We then, embarrassingly, ate our take-away pizza in the Access's super posh hotel lobby. The desert tour was great for us, the drivers were well trained, but you should be clear beforehand whether you can tolerate such a trip. Camel rides (nice 5 min loop), sand boarding (push down hills because it doesn't slide), dinner with belly dancing. Recommended.

The pick up from the hotel worked great. The driver was very concerned about our well-being. The tour by bus was good, it was just a pity that you got a voucher for the food and a phone number and the (Read More)n you were on your own. The desert tour was great, the driver was great. Food was good and the performance was great. What we found a pity that you have to pay for photos you took with the falcon yourself. But all in all it was good.
