Start point is Al Seef Heritage hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, You can come by a taxi. The nearest metro station is Sharaf DG metro station on the green line. From there we will be hiding to Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood The emirate of Dubai is known for being one of the most modern cities in the world. But it also has something to offer those wishing to see what the city looked like before it put itself on the map as a tourist hotspot. Nestled along Dubai Creek, the historic Al Fahidi Neighborhood provides the visitors an opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle that was prevalent in Dubai from the mid-nineteenth century to the seventies of the twentieth century. The tour begins with a visit to the historical district of Al Fahidi, known as Al Bastakia. We will have several stops where we will talk about the history, culture, traditions and the life style of the people of Old Dubai. Bur Dubai Abra Station We will board a small boat (known as Abra) to cross the famous creek of Dubai heading to the old markets (Spice & Gold) we will pass by the wall of Old Dubai on our way to the coin museum, where you will see the ancient coins of Arabia and Dubai. followed by a top in front of a mosque and learn more about Islam. Dubai Spice Souk The Spice Souk is located in Deira, the commercial and cultural hub that is one of the oldest parts of Dubai. The souk is known for its narrow alleyways and shops filled with an endless array of spices from around the world. The Spice Souk is a beautiful amalgamation of vibrant colors and aromas that attracts visitors in large numbers. Textile Souk A short walk through the aisles of the textile markets of Dubai heading to the Abra (Boat) Dubai Gold Souk During your visit to Dubai, you cant miss the Deira Gold Souk in Dubai. Tiny little stores in narrow streets filled with mostly Arabic and Indian style gold jewelry feature traditional styles and unthinkable designs.
