Get a glimpse of desert life and agricultural life with rock formations deep in the desert such as fossil and camel rocks. Continue your adventure with sandboarding and an exciting dune bashing experience. Enjoy an exhilarating adventure to the deep trenches and waters of Wadi, the region’s natural water pools. Wadi Shawka in Ras Al Khaimah is neighbored by the Hajar Mountains and the valley consists of rocky terrain, farmland, water pools, wildlife, and plenty of parking and camping spots. Wadi Shawka is a perfect place for family picnics and get-togethers in nature. Swim back through it or turn back a little bit and climb a small hill to bypass it.

Wir haben viele Informationen rund um das Leben in Du (Read More)bai und die Historie erhalten. Der Ausflug zum Camel Rock war super und wir haben das Sandboarding geliebt. Unvergleichlich war jedoch der Ausflug zu den Wadi Shawka Pools. Auch hier lag große Sorgfalt darauf, dass wir unsere Privatsphäre haben, und so konnten wir den Felsenpool komplett alleine genießen. Wir würden diese Tour jederzeit wieder buchen. Herzlichen Dank für die sehr gute Betreuung.

We were alone with the guide. He didn't tell us much about the surroundings. In the wadi we went on a short hike to one of the water pools. Then we went into the desert. Sandboarding was a lot of fun. (Read More) We had enough time and space to take photos. There was enough and varied food. A great and worthwhile trip.

We had a great and varied day. Our driver Nowfar first took us to Wadi Shakwa Pool. The landscape with mountains and isolated bodies of water in the middle of the desert gave us a completely different (Read More) insight into the Emirates. Then we went on to see camels with sandboarding and then a dune ride. During the trip you could definitely tell that Nowfar is an experienced guide who has been doing this job for a long time. At the end we had a hearty breakfast in a camp with a wonderful view of the desert and mountain landscape. We can only recommend the tour.

We absolutely loved this special trip. It's something completely different than these typical Dubai excursions. Our tour was private, so our guide Abdul Khader was able to accommodate our needs. Since (Read More) I'm pregnant, he drove really carefully and we skipped the dune bashing. In general, Abdul was a really great guide and answered all questions and requests. We definitely recommend doing the tour during the week as all the places were deserted and that made it even more magical. The desert was wonderful, we saw camels and then drove through the Hajar Mountains and hiked part of it ourselves. Here you really shouldn't have any physical limitations and wear good shoes (which can get wet). But the journey is worth it, swimming in the Wadi Shawka pool in complete privacy was an absolute highlight. The breakfast there was also delicious. Transport also went smoothly.
