Itinerary

Start the tour by meeting your the group at one of the two meeting points, or get picked up at your hotel if you upgrade to the private tour option. Leave Bangkok around 7 AM by air-conditioned van-bus, and get to know your Spanish-speaking guide and learn some insights about Thailand on the 1.5-hour ride to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Upon arrival in Ratchaburi province, board a longtail boat and enjoy the ride to the floating market. Don't forget to take a photo or video of this unique experience. Once there, immerse yourself in the floating market for 1 hour. See locals selling their food from paddle boats, and shop for food, snacks, or souvenirs right from the boat. Spend your leisure time walking around the market with no rush and try authentic Thai food, if you like. After exploring the market, get back on the van and drive to the famous Maeklong Railway Market centered on the railway. Wander around with your guide waiting for the iconic moment when the local train comes at 11:10 AM. As the train approaches, watch the awnings and shop fronts get moved back from the rails, and then replaced once the train has passed. Make sure to have your camera ready as the train will not wait for you.

They have not asked us to show any Coupons or anything. On the other hand, it seemed to me that the time spent in each place was especially short, since for the journey from Bangkok to there, spending (Read More) only 15-20 minutes in the Mae Klong Market is very little and in Damnoen Saduak Although we spent more time with the boat, we were only able to enjoy half an hour watching the Market on foot. In my opinion, very little duration in each site.

The market on the train tracks is spectacular, our guide Pawan (I hope it is written like that, if not, forgive me Auntie Pau) was an exceptional guide, she showed us everything, even things that coul (Read More)d be seen through the window on the way there in the mini van. He took photos of us, he was 12 out of 10. Regarding the floating market, I was very disappointed. Because of Covid there are many stalls closed, they were cleaning and preparing, but in December 2022 it is not even worth going to the damnoen saduak, they took us on a tour of 4 stalls and then through empty canals (since everything was closed) the boat jams and the 2000 floating boat-shops are just an expectation that you will not find (at least as of the date of this comment)

The entire tour was incredible, Bety our spectacular guide, explained a lot about what we would do, culture, history, etc. There was only one incident where the description said that we were going to (Read More)get on the train and in reality we didn't, they told me at the agency that It was a getyourguide issue since they had made the change but it was not yet shown in the app, however getting on the train had been one of the reasons why we had chosen this tour. On the other hand, everything else was amazing.
