To the guide. His English is not understood. And he is very despotic.

They changed my pickup at hotel option to pickup at collection point, as my hotel was outside their “designated area”, although it was within the wider city centre, without refunding me the extra paym (Read More)ent I did for the hotel pickup. The guide was annoyed from the morning, he let us spent 2 hours at the national park, where the walk in one direction takes about an hour. We spent about 20 minutes at the top location (the reason for visiting the park) and then we had to run back on a rocky slippery road, because the guide was calling us on Whatsapp and rushing us back to the car, which completely ruined our trip experience. The trip was supposed to be 14 hours long, he rushed us to the car because he wanted to be back home asap in 12 hours. The worst organization of a day trip I experienced in my life.

The trip was good, the place is a little far and the driver was in too much of a hurry.

The museum was really bare, not very interesting even though the topic could offer good ideas. The waterfalls are beautiful and deserve more time.

The meeting point was fateful, since we had to go up the stairs of the BTS station to look for exit N2 which was impossible to find due to the GPS location (3 out of 6 people got lost) and then had to (Read More) get off where the mini bus was (nonsense). The bus is not comfortable and the service was poor compared to other excursions we have taken. They have not even given us water. The excursion DOES NOT INCLUDE A BOAT RIDE, which the guide EDDY suggests you pay 300 baths for a boat for a 20 minute ride along the river (but on a boat he knows, not just any other). Food is also NOT included in the excursion, as clearly reflected in the reservation details, but nevertheless the guide EDDY forces you to eat in a terrible restaurant in ERAWAN, not knowing the reason for his decision to go to restaurant N5. Please note that the guide EDDY is not a professional, he offers a vehicle to visit the place, his explanations are sketchy and the service is terrible.

The day trip went as planned, but our guide (Pop) was not a fluent English speaker. No one knew what he was saying most of the time, except for the odd few words - most of his speaking was just babbli (Read More)ng gibberish. It was awful! He definitely should not be doing English tours. When we left the JEATH museum, I had to use ChatGPT to understand the meaning of the site because I just had no clue! He meant well, but Christ, it was almost a chore to try and understand him. I am English, so I picked up on a few more words than some of the other people in the group who had English as their second language - they couldn’t understand a thing! It was a shame, really.
