Enjoy your full-day private tour from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi with your personal tour guide. Start with pickup from your hotel in Bangkok in the early morning. Visit the top destinations in Kanchanaburi by a private air-conditioned car. Begin your trip by visiting Bridge Over the River Kwai, the famous attraction of Kanchanaburi which was made famous by the movie of the same name. Continue to Erawan Waterfall National Park, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand with an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. Walk from the national park office to the waterfall. Relax at the waterfall or take an optional trek up to the top of the waterfall on the 7th tier (about 1,500 meters). After the waterfall, enjoy an optional lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Krasae Buddha cave and board the train to ride along the former railway for about 30 minutes. Then return to your hotel in Bangkok.

We had an incredible day! The program was fully respected. Our guide Harry accompanied us well throughout the day, he took great care of us, he knew how to tell us the history of Kanchanaburi. He also (Read More) took photos of us. He made sure that we could experience the best moments during each stage of this day. He was patient and let us take our photos. We enjoyed the trip as the places are worth seeing. We had a private tour, just our family and a guide Kim who was really nice and helpful all the time, and a drive who drove safely and always picked (Read More)up us wherever and whenever needed. There are however some comments I would like to share: the trip has a rich programme but it is not manageable. In contrast to what had been on schedule, we did not have time to play and swim in the waterfall and we did not visit the cave with Buddha - just briefly saw it from the train (which we would have missed if it had not been for our driver who smartly managed to take a different route to get us the station before the train). Also, we would appreciate more time at the bridge over Kwai river which is a special place and we would like to see and hear more but had just a few minutes (also, there is a cute market with souvernires we would love to enjoy a bit). Lunch break was great - our guide Kime took us to a very nice restaurant serving great food.

We could not have been more impressed with the service, and the way the trip went. So much insight into the area and wow it was stunning. Time our guide was exceptional, and Mike our driver was an excellent driver. We had a wonderful day visiting Kanchanaburi ,Erewan National Park and the River Kwai. We never felt rushed and Time shared (Read More) his passion for his beautiful country. His english is excellent and he has a great sense of humor. So highly recommended!! He is a world of knowledge for great food restaurants in Bangkok also . We will have Time be our guide any time we are back in Bangkok.
