Itinerary
Meet our professional guide and kick start your day tour of Fujairah from your hotel in Dubai by 08:00-09:00 am. Embark on a beautiful sightseeing tour along the East Coast way that includes the Oasis of Al Dhaid and Masafi, as well as Sharjah. The tour's first stop is Friday Market in Fujairah, also known as Souk al Juma’s near Masafi, set among mountains and valleys. Its open market setting attracts tourists and locals from all over the region and plays a significant role in bringing tourists to the Masafi area. Move ahead on tour by visiting the Sheikh Zayed Mosque (Fujairah), the second largest mosque in the UAE after the mosque by the same name in Abu Dhabi. The next stop will be Fujairah Fort, the oldest fort in the UAE. Built 20 meters above sea level and used for defensive purposes in repelling invaders from 1500 to 1550 AD and rebuilt from 1650 to 1700 AD. We will advance in our tour by visiting Khor Fakkan Bay, a deep-ocean port, and a curving Khor Fakkan Seashore. A promenade stretches along the waterfront, with the Hajar Mountains behind it. The next stop of this tour is the “Al Bidya Mosque”; the mysterious origin and unusual architecture make the oldest surviving mosque in the United Arab Emirates a must-see attraction during the city tour. The mosque dates back to 1446, near the village of Al Bidya in the east coast region. The origin of the mosque is still a mystery to all, even the local elders. Khorfakkan Waterfall is our next stop on this tour, a wonderful 45m-high man-made waterfall cascading down next to the amphitheater. It was sculpted out of natural rock and is often lit at night. It has been constructed with viewing windows at the very top. From there, tourists can watch the water flow down the stone. Both the amphitheater and waterfall stand in front of Khorfakkan’s shimmering bay, so the visitors may enjoy a wander along the beach before having a magnificent show. After visiting the waterfall, we will have lunch at Beach Hotel, where we will get beach access. The last stop of this tour is Rafisah dam, famous for its charming and eye-catching beauty. Nestled amongst the Hajjar mountains, this man-made lake is frequented by several species of migrating birds. Visitors to the dam can admire its scenic beauty by touring around the lake and enjoying its many activities. After the Rafisah dam, we will all be transferred back to the hotels and reach Dubai by 5-6 pm.
