Itinerary

You head west out of London to village of Avebury. Here you can wander amidst the largest prehistoric stone circle in the world and admire the manor houses. After lunch, we travel deep into rural Wiltshire to Lacock village, famous for its picturesque streets, historic buildings, and role as a television and film location. The Abbey in the heart of the village has its own woodland grounds, and is a quirky country house with fascinating architectural styles. Our final stop of the day is at the ancient Roman Spa town of Bath. This city has been inhabited for around 2,000 years. You can enjoy Bath Abbey and the beautiful Georgian architecture at your own pace, or even visit the Roman Baths*. It’s a fascinating town to explore, so we give you plenty of time to wander around at your own pace before you return to London in the early evening. *Please note that your optional visit to the Roman Baths cannot be guaranteed, as sometimes tickets sell out.

Your directions to find the coach are not good. Nowhere does it say it is in an unlabeled building.

We were very pleased with our day trip to Avebury, Lacock Village, and Bath. Amir was an informative, engaging, and hospitable guide. We appreciated the map we were given about the high points to see (Read More)in Bath and used it to guide our walking tour. It would have been helpful to have something in writing about the layout in Avebury, as we weren't quite sure where to go as we walked around. Similarly, it would have been great to have something to read about the history of Lacock Village. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day thanks to Amir!

Our guide pointed out a few sights in London as we left the city and one unnoteworthy thing in on a hill between Avebury and Lacock but gave 0 information about Avebury, Lacock, or Bath. He got us to (Read More)our destinations, and the bus was clean, but the only reason I would do this tour is if you want to specifically see these three places in one day, as it would be harder to travel to them independently. I wish we had about 20 mins extra in Lacock because it was quite rushed (about 40 mins) but having an hour in Avebury was good since I did look up some self guided tours over a hot chocolate. The Bath timing was good in my opinion. Overall not a bad tour, but just note that you don’t really have a guide. Thanks Rabbie’s

Neal and Damian were great. Could spend just 30 minutes in Avebury, 30 minutes is PLENTY for Lacock. Leave more time for Bath.

Mark was the best Guide ever; he explained everything so thouroughly sind was much fun. He even had a Special playlist for this trip! Bath was breathtaking, and I would have loved to spend more time t (Read More)here. Lacock could be skipped, in my opininion.
