This was a very nice trip!! Our guides and driver were all fantastic in Paris. Golden Tours does need to work on the arrival greeting at St. Pancras. It was the guides first day working and he didn’t (Read More)announce who he was to travelers and just stood under the escalator. Once we figured out who he was, we seemed to know more about the boarding process than he did. He gave no instructions, but again, it was his first day, so this simply reflects on Golden Tours training. We did have a lovely time in Paris.

The trip was worth it for the price but everything felt very rushed and I feel like we tried to fit too many things in just one day. We spent about 15 minutes at the chapel, then 1 hour on the boat ri (Read More)de, then 1h15m at the tour and around 2h at the louvre, getting back to the station 2h30m before our train departed. If you think that’s your speed and should be enough for you, go for it!! If you feel you need more time for pictures, food, etc, just spend more time in paris, there is so much to see there :)

The tour exceeded our expectations. It was exactly what we wished for and more. Our guide Lara and her colleagues were perfect in keeping things organized and on schedule, readjusting the order of eve (Read More)nts as necessary. Directions were always very clear when we were given free time. The bus was routed amazingly well considering the chaos in Paris with closings and traffic ahead of the Olympics. We appreciated Lara's decision to return early to the train station to avoid the previous day's delay in traffic which allowed us a leisurely dinner with no stress about making our train. I highly recommend this tour for a day trip to Paris that balances guided and free touring of the principal attractions, but with the security of ensuring efficient transportation and arriving safely at all destinations.

The day trip was terrible. There was no guide at the meeting place and our train tickets were never emailed to us. We missed our original train. We did manage to rebook a later train but on arrival in (Read More) Paris had to pay for a hop on hop off tour. The trip booked through you included the tour in Paris. So in addition to the $800 cdn we paid you originally, we had to pay an additional $100£ for the train change and an additional $225€ for the tour of Paris. So, how can we get reinbursed for the additional costs incurred to make our Paris day trip happen? Thanks, awaiting a satisfactory response.

It was great to see three top places in Paris. Lara is an excellent tour guide and handled a situation where two group members “went missing.” It wasn’t her fault and she tried so hard to find them- t (Read More)hey misunderstood our meeting place at the louvre. Part of the package I selected was to include montmartre, but we were put in one including Eiffel Tower without notice. Also, communication about tickets, etc. was haphazard and confusing. In all it was a good day, but coordination between the two tour companies involved should be improved.

It was a great day! The guide was very knowledgeable and we had enough free time to explore the Eiffel tower and Louvre museum on our own. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the tour was (Read More)originally supposed to include Montmartre and not the Eiffel tower, but we ended up going to the Eiffel tower without any warning of a change in the itinerary. I'm not mad at the change, but I was looking forward to seeing the Sacre Coeur church
