Itinerary

Extended Visit to Windsor Castle As an iconic part of British culture, the beautiful Windsor Castle is one of the must-visit attractions in the UK. Steeped in history and overlooking the delightful town of Windsor, the Castle is well-documented as the King’s favourite royal residency. Explore the historic Castle in all its glory including the exuberant State Apartments where you’ll see artwork from some of the world’s most legendary artists, Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and discover St. George’s Chapel, the resting place of the notorious Tudor King Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour. You will also get to see the exquisite Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House that defies belief – a miniature structure complete with functioning lifts, running water and electricity! Extended Visit to Stonehenge This world-famous, prehistoric monument is as much mysterious as it is inspiring with its meaning still questioned to this very day. Speculations suggest it could have been a way to worship the sun, a burial ground or even a healing centre for those ill of health but this is your chance to piece together the facts and come to your own conclusion on the mystery of Stonehenge for an extended visit! This legendary setting will be sure to live long on in your memory. Estimated arrival time back in London is around 6:00pm

The trip was wonderful, especially thanks to the guide Oliver and the driver Malcolm. By far the best guide from all the trips I've done (and I've done a lot). Full of humor, he managed to organize us (Read More) in such a way that we could see as much as possible and not feel tired in any way. Full of information, he made us feel in the middle of the events and learn a lot. I recommend the tour especially thanks to Oliver and the driver Malcolm. Congratulations Golden Tours!

The 10-hour program was shortened to 7-7.5 hours. There was no time to eat, it was a rush, as the tour guide was in a hurry and he was even happy and proud of himself. Moreover, they did not bring me (Read More)back to the starting point. The sights and the fact that we got in quickly were positive, but one would have liked to have lingered at the sights, especially since it wasn't even raining, it would have been more pleasant in beautiful sunny weather if you didn't have to rush like that.

Our guide Maria was great!!!! Totally committed, super informed, kind and in a good mood. The trip itself was great, of course. There was enough time, but of course you could always use more. Note: De (Read More)finitely do NOT do the other, big tour (including Oxford) on the same day. That's pure stress and you won't get much out of it... The tour with Stonehenge and Windsor is easily doable in terms of time.

Nice tour that allows you to visit two places in one day that you could not see without the organized trip. The time for Windsor is quite limited as the place is very large and with many people it tak (Read More)es more than two hours. There is no time to eat except in the middle of the road. You could return a little later to leave more time for Windsor (30 minutes more)

i booked this day trip with the understanding it included Windsor and Stonehenge. it did not and unfortunately i had to book the guided tours while on the bus to stonehenge. i can't even see where the (Read More) option is to click for Stonehenge and Windsor. if it was peak season I probably would not have gotten access to Windsor or Stonehenge. I basically paid for a bus pass to the sites. not sure why this app advertised for services they don't provide. extremely discouraging and I will not be using this app for the duration of my Europe trip.
