Itinerary

Visit Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath on this day trip in an air-conditioned bus from London. Explore the residence of the English monarchy at Windsor Caste and try to unlock the secrets of Stonehenge for yourself. Admire Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge in the city of Bath. The first stop on this full-day tour is the historic town of Windsor where you’ll visit the Queen’s favorite weekend retreat — Windsor Castle. The Castle, dating from Norman times, features a prominent turreted Round Tower. It sits atop a wooded hill on the banks of the Thames River, in the midst of lovely landscaped grounds. Have a “through-the-keyhole” look at the Castle’s State Apartments and paintings by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci that hang there. A visit to St. George’s Chapel is also on your tour. The Chapel is the final resting place of King Henry VIII and other monarchs. Before you leave Windsor, you’ll see Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, a residence in miniature, complete with electricity, running water, working lifts, and even bottles of wine. The iconic and ancient monument of Stonehenge is your second stop on the tour. Your first sight of Stonehenge will be of the monolithic rocks rising up from Salisbury Plain. There have been many theories over the ages about this mysterious 5,000-year-old formation. You may end up with a theory of your own to add to the speculation.  The city of Bath lines the sloping banks of the Avon River. This was England’s first city to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Visit the 15th-century Bath Abbey and also Pulteney Bridge, which was based on the design of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. You’ll see stunning examples of Georgian architecture and have enough free time in Bath to explore on your own. After a full and memorable day, you will arrive in London at the end of your tour at approximately 8:00 PM.

This was a long day but it was so worth it! Despite the horrible weather we had on the day, Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath were honestly some incredible places and I am overjoyed to have experienced the (Read More)m. Also Bruce is an absolutely amazing tour guide, he’s funny and charismatic and made the coach rides feel quick. Kieran got us around safely in spite of gale force winds and heavy rain. Absolutely recommend this!

The tour was great but for the cost and with it being a all day trip they should have included lunch. I have been on all day tours in other countries and our lunch was included.

It was day full of queues, so it was not really optimal. I felt also the guide was concerned about how expensive things are, than the sites themselves. It was sort of a commentary of the sites, rather (Read More) than guiding and informing tourists about historical sites. The guide was jumping from one topic to another, so I felt dizzy listening it all together.

info on the app and confirmation email incorrect - meetup point/time was wrong. People were nice and telling us we were 3 blocks away from the pick up point. We were srillat pick up point by 735am. pi (Read More)ck up area was chaotic and they ran out of room on the buses. we had to wait 20 min for a new one. So we left 21 min later than expected and we were late getting to Windsor. Queue was super long and we had to rush thru without seeing everything. Our guide Dom C miscounted red wristbands so we had to wait further at Windsor to get in and more rushing. No time for audio guide. Dom C was pretty rough around the edges - not super nice. The tour was supposed to be 12 hours long but seemed he wanted to be back by 730pm. I can’t recommend this group unfortunately. Guides are usually social, nice and informative- not Dom C. Sorry
