Itinerary

This exciting half-day program will take you from Kuala Lumpur City Gallery to Kuala Lumpur’s downtown area and the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Petaling Street, where you can enjoy a traditional Hainanese coffee before commencing on a fascinating ‘voyage of discovery’ by bike. The path leads through a labyrinth of hidden alleyways that connect the new and the old Kuala Lumpur. This is ‘secret’ Kuala Lumpur, far from public view is where a dark single file passage opens to secret morning junk market that only locals go to, and unique historical gems. Discover hidden Chinese eateries and heritage hand-made trades, delight at the fascinating old village houses on stilts and enjoy a refreshing drink at a locals store. Get yourself hands on making local bread (subject to availability) while enjoying our national drink 'Teh-Tarik'. Photo opportunities abound as your guide shares not only the history, but daily rituals and regimes that will intrigue and amaze. Getting lost and found again in these hidden alleyways is a truly rewarding and special experience. Depending on the group size, rider’s abilities and weather conditions the duration of the tour may exceed that as stated, in these cases the tour intinerary may be adjusted. For every booking of Hidden Secrets of Kuala Lumpur, there is a contribution pledge from the local operator per adult bike tour participant to Puan Nafsiah’s 100 years old Kampung Baru home.

Very good guide, very kind and pleasant. Speaks slowly because English is not our official language. Interesting tour that allows you to see the famous places of KL in a few hours.

Old bikes and a good guide if you like history stories. Not one thing in the tour about modern architecture. Lots of stops and only few miles biking. Very friendly, just not our cup of tea.

Interessante, un bel modo per visitare la città. Bellissime le incursioni nei mercati, le visite ai templi, alla moschea e al villaggio malese. Guida preparata e non banale
