Itinerary

Upon the designated pickup time, our driver guide arrives at your hotel lobby for the Kuala Lumpur City + Batu Caves Tour. While on your journey to the King's Palace, the guide will educate you on the palace's history and Malaysia's history of kings. At the tour's first stop, visitors can photograph the massive palace and the royal guards. After exploring the palace grounds, the driver guide gives you insights about the next stop, the National Mosque. As you reach the National Mosque, you would be captivated by its unique umbrella-shaped design and outstanding features. Next, the driver guide would bring you to the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, where you'll get the chance to witness the fascinating blend of Eastern and Western design dating back to 1886 that serves as a testament to the city's rich legacy. You'll then be brought to the iconic Independence Square, where Malaysian independence was declared. You are met by a huge square surrounded by colonial-era buildings and the famed English-style cricket ground. Visitors are able to take photos of the Independence Square and take selfie with I Love KL statue right next to it. Later you will drive-past the “Golden Triangle”, the commercial and business hub of Kuala Lumpur. During the ride to the tower, the driver guide describes the significance of the world's 7th tallest telecommunications tower and the experiences available within. When you arrive at the KL Tower, you may enjoy the panoramic views of the Kuala Lumpur horizon. From the KL Tower, the driver guide will drive you to the Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin-structure in the world. When you arrive at the towers, you are taken aback by their sheer 88-story height as the driver guide reveals fascinating details on the towers' construction and significance. After visiting the Twin-Towers you'll embark on a 30-minute scenic journey to the final stop of the tour, Batu Caves Temple. While on the journey to the temple, the driver would brief you about the history of the temple and the caves surrounding it and would also remind you of the regulations and dress code that need to be adhered to while visiting the temple. Upon reaching the Batu Caves, you'll be greeted by the enormous Murugan statue located right next to the sacred Hindu sanctuary situated among limestone caves. Tourists would get the chance to climb up the 272 steps by foot, marvelling at the elaborate shrines and enjoying panoramic views of the city below. After visiting the temple, the tour continues by visiting the East Coast Batik Factory. The resident guide at the factory will explain about the Malaysian national attire, batik, as you witness how batik is meticulously crafted and designed and understand the purpose of it.  As the tour comes to an end, your driver guide will drop you back at your hotel, bidding farewell after a memorable excursion around Kuala Lumpur and Batu Caves.

This was a great tour and a great way to see some of the highlights of Kuala Lumpur if you’re short on time. Our guide Abdul was excellent - he provided loads of information and his English was very g (Read More)ood and clear. He even had wraps for 2 of us (ladies) to borrow since we had forgotten to wear clothing covering the knees. The Batu Cave was an incredible experience but we enjoyed all of the stops on the route. I would highly recommend this tour.

The Kuala Lumpur City + Batu Caves Tour was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our knowledgeable and friendly guide Dinesh. He was incredibly informative, taking the time to explain the history (Read More) and significance of each site in detail. Dinesh ability to weave in cultural context and personal anecdotes made the tour even more engaging. I was particularly impressed with his willingness to answer questions and provide additional insights. Whether it was a historical query or a simple curiosity, he was always happy to share his knowledge. His friendly demeanor and sense of humor created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this tour provided a comprehensive overview of Kuala Lumpur and its surrounding areas. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The guide was very nice but the tour was over shorter than the 4 hours schedule and the second half consisted of gimmick stpuroat trap shops!

Really liked the limited but well planned itinerary. Our driver was really good. No stops at boring stores to sell unwanted items. Excellent 😄
