Itinerary

Take souvenir photos of Kuala Lumpur on a half-day sightseeing tour, and see some of the city’s most photogenic monuments, such as the Istana Negra (King’s Palace) and Petronas Twin Towers. Following a pick-up from your hotel, get a stunning view of the Klang River from the King’s Palace, and marvel at Merdeka (Independence) Square. Next, go to the Petronas Twin Towers to ride to the observation deck of the world’s tallest twin towers. Step onto the 2-story bridge to experience the city and surroundings from a different perspective. Stop at the National Museum, where you can spend hours taking pictures of traditional weapons, costumes, ancient artifacts and musical instruments. Next, go to Lake Gardens for a bit of peace and quiet. Stroll to the National Monument to see Malaysia’s symbol of the struggles of World War II. Continue to the National Mosque to look at its 73-meter-high minaret and mix of eastern and western architecture. Admire the Anglo-Asian design of Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, created by the talented English architect, Arthur Benison Hubback. Go to the 6-tiered Thean Hou Temple, dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou. Discover how Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism can exist in almost perfect harmony, with ornate carvings, elegant roofs, and intricate wall embellishments. Visit Kuala Lumpur Tower (the 7th tallest tower in the world), and go to the top for panoramic views across the city from its highest point. Admire stunning design features by the Iranian architects, Isfahan, who designed the domes in the form of Persian muqarnas.

The guide was nice and friendly... but he was more of a taxi driver than a guide. But it still catered to all wishes and needs.

Thanks to Mr. Jacop we had a great day in KL. Mr. Jacop was very early that day organizing the tickets for the Twin Towers and sharp on time he was picking us up. Based on his knowledge in culture and (Read More) history he gave a very exiting briefing while driving to the first attraction. Some others followed with an intermediate stop at a batik store. As the final highlight we were at the Twin Towers which are very spectacular. This tour guided by Mr. Jacop is a must have to get introduced to KL.
