Admire the Anglo-Asian design of Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, created by the talented English architect, Arthur Benison Hubback. Go to the 6-tiered Thean Hou Temple, dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou. Discover how Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism can exist in almost perfect harmony, with ornate carvings, elegant roofs, and intricate wall embellishments. We had tried to buy the tickets online a week before arriving in Malaysia and then directly at the Petronas ticket office and it was not possible. We have signed up for a private tour guide but actually it turned out to be a private driver. The guide picked us up and dropped us off at each of the site. This tour was great. It is A LOT of sites, so if you don't want to be rushed this isn't the tour for you. But, if you have limited time in Kuala Lumpur and want to see as many rich sites and have a lo (Read More)t of experiences in one day as you can, this trip is perfect for you. The package is heavily over priced, most places are free to enter only thing requiring ticket was 15rm KL Tower and 100 RM Twin Towers, rest is just driving around in a private cab, which you can get (Read More)a 4hr grab hire for 120 RM if you really want to. The car was not a luxury brand it was not clean from outside nor inside. Only reason to book last minute was because twin towers entry tickets were sold and only way was to get through a tour company. The total cost was ~1900 RM (3 people) The driver was informative, was accommodating when changes to itenary were suggested, though he could have guided better with what places to avoid by checking with us more.
