Very informative about royals history. Dave was knowledgeable on this subject and his presence was much appreciated. Scenery was excellent.

Too much history of the park, advertised as a tour of the sunken garden, that was completely missed out as we were running late because we’d been subjected to uninteresting history 1600’s 1700’s. Sorr (Read More)y to report badly, but waste of money. Afternoon tea very nice.

The tour was fine, cold as it would be this time of year. Our guide Barbara was kind and took care of us. She left a bit abruptly and I wish she would have explained when she’d depart because I would (Read More)have preferred a different seating arrangement but it was fine. Service at The Orangery was good and the food was okay. It’s gorgeous inside and of course on the KP grounds so I’m glad I had the experience but probably wouldn’t book again.

The tour of the gardens was nice. It felt hurried a bit. It was raining and perhaps that was why. There was a lot to see and we only scratched the surface. It didn’t feel like the guide took the whole (Read More) time planned with us. We were dropped for tea at the cafe without explanation to the staff that our tours paid for the teas service. So if we had’t have showed them our vouchers, we would have been charged. Pretty sure our other guide participants didn’t know that and only ordered one Afternoon Tea service and were charged for it even though the tour clearly came with one service for each participant. So communication at the Orangey was not done well between guide and staff. Beautiful location. Must see in London. Guide ok. Tea service lovely. Make sure you get what you pay for.
