Too bad we couldn't do the guided tour because we arrived 5 minutes late at the meeting point and they had already left. However, we did the same route as them but on foot and they sent us the tickets (Read More) to be able to visit the abbey, the only monument to visit for the day.

This is a very good walking tour. I do recommend it for fitting in a lot of London locations in one tour. I did not rate it. 5 for 2 reasons. One, the walking pace was very fast. Our guide Gregg (who (Read More)was very knowledgeable and wonderful) had us moving so fast that several people dropped out as it was challenging to keep up. Two, the tickets to Westminster Abby were only pre paid vouchers. We had to wait in a long line (about 35 minutes) to enter the Abby. Otherwise we had a great time and learned a lot.

Our guide Benedict was very informative and entertaining. Love his approach to sharing information. It was quite a long time to be standing. So my feet were sore but my heart was full from a very enga (Read More)ging guide!

On Tuesday 2 July 24 my wife & I took the 4.5 hr Westminster (London) Walking Tour to include entrance to Westminster Abbey. Booking two months in advance was easy through our Get-Your-Guide (GYG) acc (Read More)ount. We met up with our guide, Benedict, at the appointed time & place and were soon off with ~15 other tourists. Benedict was knowledgeable and provided both London history and stories of notable points of interest along the way. He provided us with our admission tickets to The Abbey before we headed out from the Piccadilly St Ritz Hotel, moved at a leisurely pace stopping often to share his knowledge along the way to The Abby’s entrance where he bid us Good-Day. Except for the weather not cooperating with being chilly & rainy, it was an enjoyable tour that we would highly recommend.
