Explore Southeast Asian art at the new National Gallery Museum in Singapore. After opening its doors on 24 Nov 2015, the gallery is located in Singapore's Civic District and boasts a combined floor area of 64,000 square meters and is housed in two of the island's most iconic buildings: the former Supreme Court and the City Hall. The National Gallery Museum is the largest visual arts venue and museum in Singapore – home to over 1,000 artworks - and is certainly one of the main attractions in Singapore. Visitors are introduced to Singaporean and Southeast Asian art and special exhibitions in the gallery. Discover the impact of the British Empire on modern art in Southeast Asia during the 'Artist and Empire' special exhibition, featuring over 200 international and regional artworks. • The DBS Singapore Gallery has started a phased revamp starting in April 2024. At least one of the three Singapore galleries will always remain open, and all tours will continue as usual. All other galleries, such as the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery, Level 4 Gallery (Lim Tze Peng), and the Chief Justice’s Chamber & Office, included in the General Admission Pass will remain open. Do note that Lim Tze Peng’s exhibition will only open from 25 Oct onwards. • Open daily from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. • Tourists & Foreign Residents aged 13-59 are categorized as Adults. Concession applied for: • Tourist & Foreign Residents - Seniors (60 years and above). • Children (7-12). • Overseas Students and Teachers.
