Itinerary

Discover Old Delhi on a guided tour. Explore Chandni Chowk on a tuk-tuk tour, stop at the local markets to try delicious street food, and see the India Gate. Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel and drive to Old Delhi to visit Jama Masjid, also known as the Masjid-i Jehan-Numa. Visit this massive mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and dating from the 1600s. Next, hop aboard a tuk-tuk and roam the streets of Chandni Chowk, the heart of Old Delhi. Explore this busy shopping area and enjoy the tantalizing smells wafting out from the markets full of spices, dried fruit, essential oils, and traditional sweets. See silver jewelry and vivid saris for sale. Stop to try local street food with your guide, learning the best stalls for each type of food in the area. After eating, continue to the Red Fort. Decide if you wish to pay to enter or just admire this historic fort from the outside. Finish your Old Delhi tour with a visit to India Gate. This war memorial sits astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the ceremonial axis of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. Return to your hotel, driving past Parliament House.

This was a comfortable and interesting tour of Old Delhi. Having done the Golden Triangle and a separate New Delhi tour, I had a half day left of my trip and opted for this one. My tour guide was very (Read More) informative and his English was very easy to understand. He enjoyed sharing all the details of the market area and gave plenty of opportunities to interact. This was a good way to spend half a day and I would recommend this tour and company.

This is the best way to see the city in a short time. The market is exciting and energetic and the only way not to get lost and to find the best food is with a knowledgeable guide. Ankush was a fantas (Read More)tic guide and I would recommend this tour if you are short on time to discover this beautiful city.

The tour is excellent and both guide and driver attentive to every wish. The tour itself is really good experience- I’d caution anyone who takes it though to be flexible with their time as Delhi traff (Read More)ic can hinder your flow.

The guide Ankush and driver Saurabh are very friendly and accommodating; serving their best to the last minutes of requests of us. They had help us to know more about the city of Delhi, history and cu (Read More)lture; from religion to art and craft in India. One interesting episode that I must record down - I had heard about my friends in Australia, Philippine and India all claiming that the best mangoes are in their own hometown. I do not have a chance to taste the Indian mango and decide to get one. Ankush and Saurabh heard this and help me to find the good one. Dec eventually my husband and I get the good one. Eventually, with their help I got the sweet Indian mango. Thank you and thank you for their extra effort. Lucky me to be in Delhi in summer with mango season👍
