Itinerary

Following a pickup from your hotel in Phuket, climb aboard a speedboat and cruise around the limestone outcrops of Phang Nga Bay. Speed across the waves of the Andaman Sea en route to the islets of Koh Ping Gan and Koh Tapu, better known as James Bond Island after they were featured in the 007 movie "The Man with the Golden Gun." Explore the hidden caves and emerald lagoons by canoe, and step back into the prehistoric world at a landscape formed over many thousands of years. Follow your guide to the very best locations, depending on the tide. Visit the village of Koh Payee built on stilts hundreds of years ago. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch of typical Thai food and get the chance to interact with the locals with the help of your guide. Get a taste of paradise and go for a swim around Naka Island or Rang Island before the end of your tour.

Tour guide was attentive and pleasant. Kept us hydrated and safe. Locations were beautiful but lots of tourists. One thing to keep an eye on is Thailand is essentially always hot, humid, with minimal (Read More)wind. Even the ocean water is barely cooling. If you’re older and out of shape like me, be careful. I was approaching heat exhaustion but shade, fans, drinking cold water, and swimming as well cool clothing all helped turn it around. Just wanted to raise awareness. My only feedback for this tour: -The intake in the morning when dropped off by the bus is chaotic and things weren’t initially clear, but that improved for the rest of the day -The AC on my buss to the harbor wasn’t very good. Otherwise I really did enjoy myself and am glad I did it! And I think this tour is a good value! Final note: this tour uses a speedboat, which allows for the tour to get you to a lot of places in one day. Other vessels (long tail) I imagine aren’t nearly as fast. But earplugs may not be a bad idea.

The tour was very nice and is definitely recommended. Highlights are clearly James Bond Island, canoeing and staying on Koh Panyee. Especially on Koh Panyee we would have liked a little more time to d (Read More)iscover the village. You will be well supplied with water, snacks and soft drinks. In our opinion, the first stop at the cave and the last stop at the beach were not necessary, as they were not really worth seeing. There are much nicer beaches with a nicer sea on Phuket. We felt that this stop was purely to generate some revenue for the beach club.
