We had a very interesting trip with Marcus. We were led through Little Arabic, Little India and Chinatown - where Marcus told us about the history, culture and food. And of course tasted it on the way (Read More). Good food and a super guide.

This food tour is a rip off. We paid over $360 for 4 people to do a 3 hour food tour. Our guide took us to 3 Hawker stops where we SHARED a serving. On our first stop, 4 adults had to share 1 chicken (Read More)wing! No joke! A single chicken wing for 4 adults. Only on the last stop were we served 2 servings of chicken and rice to share between 2 adults. The only thing we didn't share were the individual non-alcoholic drinks we were served. Our guide seemed offended when we asked where we could purchase a cocktail or beer. We eventually purchased beer on our own and he picked up and threw mine away before I finished it. We have done food tours before, our favorite in China where we were given an experience. Save your money. English is the dominant language, the train is easy to navigate and the anyone can tell you the best stalls to visit. The Michelen star stalls have signage. This was the worst and most expensive food tour we've ever done.

Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and we felt like we ate and visited the areas like locals. Food was tasty and more than we could eat and our guide also took us into the Buddhist Temple at the (Read More)end. We really enjoyed our three hours and would highly recommend.
